In February 2025, lab members in the CREW Lab proudly attended the 2025 National Association of School Psychology (NASP) convention held in Seattle, Washington from February 18th, 2025 to February 24th, 2025. The National Association of School Psychologists is the leading professional organization for school psychologists in the United States. NASP provides resources, training, and advocacy to support the mental health, learning, and behavior of students in schools. Each year, NASP holds an annual convention that brings together thousands of school psychologists, graduate students, and educators to share research, attend workshops, and collaborate on best practices in the field.
Through hands-on workshops, keynote sessions, and networking with experts across the country, lab members were able to deepen and broaden their understanding of the field of school psychology.
Above, CREW lab founder, Dr. Manchanda and graduate research assistants, Sabrina Morales, Michelle Tan, Kyuwon Lee, Jacquelyn Tsui and Ashley Flynn met up at the Cal State LA School Psychology Student Association (SPSA) dinner where faculty, students, and alumni of the Cal State LA School Psychology Program were able to socialize and connect in an evening at the conference.
Looking ahead to next year, some members of the CREW Lab are excited to attend the 2026 National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Convention and present their research findings which is set to be in Chicago, Illinois in 2026.
