Phoenyx Greicius (she/her) is a first-year graduate student pursuing an Ed.S. in School Psychology at California State University, Los Angeles.
During her time as an undergraduate student at the University of California, Irvine, Phoenyx worked as a research assistant for Dr. Belinda Campos’ Culture, Relationships, and Health (CRH) Lab. As a research assistant, she ran participant sessions to collect psychophysiological data and completed data processing tasks. After graduating, Phoenyx continued to work in the lab as a co-study coordinator, where she assisted with recruiting participants, scheduling sessions, and managing the team of research assistants. At the same time, Phoenyx worked as an ABA behavior technician in Riverside County, where she led in-home sessions with young children to teach positive skills and behaviors.
Phoenyx’s current research interests include promoting students’ self-advocacy, school-family partnerships, and culturally responsive teaching.
A fun fact about Phoenyx is that she enjoys making polymer clay charms (when she has the time), and this is a hobby she’s had since middle school!
